The Profile Design Contest is now open -- we're looking for talented, CSS-savvy designers to show us what they can do with the tribe.net user profile.
A little background here -- our next major release is going to feature custom styles for user profiles: you'll be able to select from a library of styles that will customize the appearance of your profile. We're looking to feature user-created styles alongside those that we're creating in-house. This will be a great way to get your skills in front of a lot of creative people (and people who appreciate creativity). The style library will be a new page that will be seen by every user on tribe.net.
Submit your style concept as a JPEG to profiledesign@tribe.net by April 1st, 2005. We'll pick the best to be included in the style library, and if selected, your style will be credited with your name, which will be linked to your user profile. The very best style will win its designer an iPod shuffle, too.
